“I [didn’t] hear nothing”

The July 31 trade deadline might come with another change:  Alfonso Soriano leaving the Washington Nationals.
Trade is possible between White Sox, others in the mix looking for him are Angels, Tigers, Yankees, Dodgers and Mariners.
A pitcher is what the Nationals are looking for and Angels, Tigers, White Sox and Yankees are in a position to trade.
Angels have second baseman Howie Kendrick and right hander Ervin Santana for a deal .
The nationals may have interest in the Tigers’ centre fielder Cameron Maybin.

White Sox is yet to declare whom to give up for Soriano. The probable option is Scott Podsednik a lead off hitter.

Washington seeks right hander Phillip Hughes from the Yankees.
The Nationals general manager Jim Bowden says that a deal is not in place however Soriano would not like to talk about this.
“I [didn’t] hear nothing. This is an off-day and I really don’t want to talk about baseball,” Soriano said.
Alfonso Soriano would like to stay with the Nationals for they are a young team and he believes in this team.
Soriano signed as a free agent with the New York Yankees in 1998 and played in New York for five seasons.
In 2004, the Yankees traded Soriano to the Texas Rangers (along with minor leaguer Joaquin Arias) for Alex Rodriguez and cash amounting to $67 million of the $179 million remaining on Rodriguez’s contract.
On December 7, 2005, Soriano was traded to the Washington Nationals in exchange for Brad Wilkerson, Terrmel Sledge, and minor league pitcher Armando Galarraga.
