September, the month of magic numbers, has arrived. September is considered as rocking month in baseball, as rest of the season depends on this season. This is a month to deal with the realities, when illusions melt and truths come up. For most teams, it is the dead end and for some it is an overpass to the next level. Wild card winners will move forward and rest will rest till next year.
This year contenders for the National League wild card are reds, Padres and Phillies. Though none performed well in past five months but someone will win the National League wild card, because someone has to. Braves and Mets razed their chances to move forward, they ruined it by their own last game faults.
