Ichiro’s 200th hit

Ichiro Suzuki, the seven time batting champion in Japan, has become first MLB player to score 200 hits in first four seasons. Well, there is nothing new  that he has done. Scoring 200 hits a season is hackneyed for Mariners right fielder Ichiro Suzuki. He became the first player in the history of MLB who started his MLB career with four consecutive 200- hit seasons. His long-awaited, automatically expected 200th hit of the season wasn’t nearly the full Ichiro story of Saturday’s third inning. He ran around the bases quickly and received a hero’s welcome inside the first base dugout. After getting his 200 hits, Ichiro said “I always make it a goal for myself every year”. This shows his clear vision and determination towards his aim. He aimed high so he achieved high. Further he said “And the people watching, I think, are also aware of it. So for me to continue to do this is an important thing for me”. This statement clearly says that Ichiro is going to  show some good play in near future.  He still has a few more records on his hit list to pursue. Suzuki’s fans must get ready to celebrate his success in baseball because he will be a superstar quite soon.
