This is the kind of game that has ‘Boomer’ written all over it. At least the San Diego Padres hope it does. One game down to St. Louis Cardinals for division titles, Padres has set all their hopes on David wells. The 43 year mature, reputed David Wells was attained a month ago from Boston because he is apparently big time pitcher. Wells, who pitched for the Padres in 2004 before signing as a free agent with Boston, looks forward to facing Pujols. No doubts, Wells is happy to be in hometown, and playing the big game for them. But on the other side he is sad too because this is going to be his last season in MLB. How nice it is, that you will play your last game in your hometown to make your city proud of you. I wish David Wells a very happy and prosperous life after the retirement.
