History repeats itself (Tigers face cardinals on the same platform)

After 38 long years, Detroit Tigers and St. Louis Cardinals face each other in the World Series once again.  In 1968, the Cardinals were leading the Tigers three games to one in the World Series, but everyone knows how the situations took a U-turn and favored the Tigers. The Tigers would like to repeat their win in the Game 5 beginning on Friday night at Busch Stadium.
The Tigers hit .274 as a team for the season and are hitting .211 in the World Series. Their ERA of 3.84 was the best in the Major Leagues during the regular season, but in this series, though it’s dipped to 3.18, the Tigers are being beaten by the Cardinals, who are at 2.31. Figures say that the Tigers are ahead of Cardinals. But still, the Tigers must focus on winning Game 5 on Friday night, and then see if history does repeat itself in Detroit.
