Nationals still hunting for a Manager

Washington Nationals hunt for a new manager knows no bounds. Five weeks ago when Stan Kasten, the Nationals’ president, first spoke about the replacement of Frank Robinson, he guaranteed that it would be comprehensive and methodical search. Many contenders appeared for interview but with big price tags. Kasten  confirmed, he didn’t mind paying high to a potential option. “During this search we have interviewed people who would be across the full salary spectrum, from very large contract to very small,” Kasten said in an e-mail, “and we are prepared to hire the best fit, irrespective of which it is.
Nationals have interviewed almost every level of candidate, from the big names, such as Dusty Baker and Lou Piniella, to Trent Jewett and John Russell. But now rumors are there in the air, that this search may wrap up soon. As Jim Bowden had made contact with Bobby Valentine, the former manager of the Texas Rangers and New York Mets nowadays managing in Japan. So lets see do these rumors actually carry weight? But now, one thing is sure that Nationals will have a manager soon.
