Pitcher Jon Lester is Back!

It must be the happiest day of Lester’s life, when he came to know that he has won over the painful cancer. Twenty two year, Jon Lester was diagnosed with lymphoma at the end of August this year, which made him stay away from the game. But now after undergoing four courses of chemotherapy he has been declared cancer-free. Though he still has to undergo two more chemotherapy courses, but now he is all set to join spring training.

Jon Lester
For a young man combating cancer, Lester managed to stay outstandingly upbeat throughout the whole process. Lester has worked out throughout the offseason but he only resumed throwing on Monday. His goal now is to regain the 10 pounds he lost since treatment began, but he doesn’t expect any intricacy in being ready to report to spring training on time.
Young Lester has many fans, he came to know about this during his treatment. He has been one of Boston’s top prospects since he was drafted in 2002, one frequently requested by other teams in trade talks.
May he blessed with a long healthy life.
