An unfortunate happening took away our favorite baseball player Jose Uribe. 47 year old Uribe killed in a car crash on Friday. A kind soul with a smiling face, that is how I define Uribe. He was always happy and had a smile on his face, he found a way to make you laugh, always remained center of attraction. Jose was a very loved person in Juan Baron. He was like the lord of the town.

Jose Urib
Uribe played for San Francisco from 1985 to 1992, hitting a personal-high .291 in 1987 and playing a solid shortstop. In his 10-season career, Uribe had a .241 average with 19 homers, 219 RBIs and 74 stolen bases. He had a career batting average of .241 and a fielding percentage of .969.
Uribe is survived by his second wife, Wendy Guerrero, with whom he had four children. He had at least 14 children in all. May God bless his soul.
