Mets are on the verge of hiring players for the team. The Mets declared two new deals on Tuesday, which are still unofficial and unconfirmed. The club has made space for right hand starter Jorge Sosa, for $1.25 million to a one year contract, and left-handed reliever Scott Schoeneweis to a three-year agreement for $10.8 million. The Mets accredited they have no more pending deals before spring training — in terms of accumulating more players.

Jorge Sosa
The Mets find Sosa as capable as Oliver Perez, and his signing is another evidence of club’s wide conviction that anyone can become capable with the right instruction. Minaya also wants to have profundity for his rotation, which remains unsteady with spring training. Schoeneweis, 33, will follow Ambiorix Burgos in Minaya’s bilateral effort to fortify a bullpen that lost the effective Chad Bradford to the Orioles this winter.
Now, the Mets have no plans to sign up any new player. They are done!
