Twins Are Adding Stability In Their Starting Rotation

Twins wouldn’t have made any alterations in their starting rotation if Brad Radke hadn’t been retired and Francisco Liriano hadn’t injured. But now they need to recover the strength of starting rotation that has been weekend by the loss of these two important players. The Twins has already made a move to fill out the rotation by signing former Nationals right-hander Ramon Ortiz.

Ramon Ortiz
The team is trying to instill experience to young rotation. Presence of veteran Ortiz in the Twins starting rotation that has only two starters Johan Santana and Carlos Silva will make a firm rotation. Young blood and experienced mind together will lead to a better game.
Thirty three years old Ortiz has 79-76 career record and 4.85 ERA. He gave his best shot in year 2002, when he went 15-9 with a 3.77 ERA and a career-high 162 strikeouts for the World Champion Los Angeles Angels.
Now the Twins rotation includes Santana, Carlos Silva, Boof Bonser, Ortiz and Ponson, let’s see how effective this rotation is going to be?
