Jimmy Rollins will play for his team, the Philles. Hitting streaks, individual achievements and personal records don’t hold that importance for Rollins.Unfortunately, Phillies couldn’t get a chance to play in the playoff in 2006 season, but it’s never too late. The club has fair chances to perform in the postseason if the veteran doesn’t fail to prove himself. Jimmy Rollins is confident about the team, and he firmly believes in himself and his team’s potential.

During last season, Rollins became the second player in the Major League to set a record of 40 doubles, 25 home runs, 120 runs and 35 stolen bases in just one season. The only other player to achieve this feat was Alfonso Soriano in year 2002.
Though Rollins has made a mark in the MLB, but he never got a chance to play in the playoffs. So to attain a berth in the post season is his strong desire and to play in the World Series Championship is his dream. Rollins wants to experience the feeling of being a winner.
