Manny Ramirez is in a habit of giving surprises, he has never been up to what is expected from him, and hence his emergence at Red Sox spring training camp was another surprise to many. Just a week ago his colleague and teammate informed media Ramirez will step in the camp after February. But he reached Fort Myres on Monday, three days ahead of his anticipated arrival. Manny has always in the limelight in Boston, once telling public about his love for the city and his team, and the other day talking about his wish to be traded to some other team.

Manny & David Sharing Few Words During Spring Training
Whatever Manny Ramirez thinks or does, his absence is sure to effect the team. There is no denying that if the Red Sox will get back to playoff form this season they need Ramirez to have a full-size season. Last year he had an added big year, hitting .321 with 35 homers and 102 RBI. This in spite of the club not performing up to the caliber as the BoSox concluded the season in third place in the AL East at 86-76, 11 games back of the Yankees. The Red Sox team believes that 2007 will be special with better performance and more number of wins.
