All baseball fans know who stole the limelight on Wednesday night, yes its Felix Hernandez. A right-hander who made his first career start at Fenway Park was the leading light of the show. Hernandez sidetracked Red Sox’s $103 million investment and became the king of the game.

With all of Red Sox realm and a huge population of Japan witnessed, the Mariners right-hander became the pin-up attraction in a game owed as a homeland party connecting Boston’s high-stakes venture, Daisuke Matsuzaka, against fellow countryman Ichiro Suzuki.
