The Cardinals, who still retain the memories of Darryl Kile, suffered another loss on Sunday early morning, when they came to know about sudden demise of their loving teammate Hancock. Young and dynamic Josh Hancock was just twenty nine years old; he didn’t know that this was his last drive, when he met with an accident on Interstate 64 in St. Louis. This is for the second time in five years that the club has lost an active player.

Josh Hancock
The Cardinals signed Hancock in February 2006 and with his potential, he became a valuable team member of the team’s bullpen. The pain entire team feels today is unspeakable. Josh was a great player with a strong will power to win. The respect and love that he has earned from his team members and fans are his true assets that he has taken along with his life.
It’s a big loss for the team, baseball, his fans and family. But life has to move on. May god bless his soul.
