If you are a baseball fan then you have definitely heard of Barry Bonds. He is known as the King of Homers, The hard hitter and all those other cool names that come with baseball. But Bonds has definitely earned all the names. Of late however claims of that he may be on steroids have come but they have yet to prove a thing and they can’t hinder us from being his fans just by tarnishing his name. But this claims haven’t slowed down the big left fielder, who on May 8. 2007 hit his 745th home run and is currently second in career home runs trailing Hank Aaron who is first with 755.

The San Francisco Giant player has a family background of great baseball players like Hall of Famer Willie Mays who is his godfather, Hall of Famer Reggie Jackson is his cousin and he is the son of former Major League All Star Bobby Bonds. With his 2,454 career walks, his 656 intentional walks Barry is ranked first on both and is ranked second in extra base hits of which he has 1,411. Barry is also ranked third in bats per home run which he has 13.0, he is ranked fourth in RBI’s which he has 1952, ranked fifth in total bases which he has 5,842 and runs which he has 2,174. Barry Bonds is ranked sixth in slugging average (.610) and base percentage (.444).

Through out his magnificent career Bonds has done it all and has broken several records. He has also proven that he is one of the best baseball players that have ever played in the game.
