Delgado’s to home runs gave the Mets an early lead making this Carlos 41st career two homer game. Other notable players in this game were Endy Chavez, who had three hits and David Wright who scored twice. Not to be left behind was John Maine, the Mets starter who only allowed two runs in over six innings picking his sixth win of the season.
