TIGERS BEATEN BY THE INDIANS

David Dellucci (left) and Grady Sizemore celebrate after the Tribe beat the Tigers 6-3.

The Detroit Tigers found it hard to get one over the Cleveland Indians let alone that they got through three, but still getting defeated 6-3 by the Tigers. After trying hard to get lucky much of the season David Dellucci made some airwaves making a two run homer off pitcher Jason Grilli in the eighth inning which help move the Tribe from the 3-3 tie they had with the Tigers at that point.

This was the first meeting of the American League Central’s first two top clubs and the win captivated the Cleveland Indians to a series win. The Saturday night game, which was held in Detroit’s Comerica Park, saw a different side of Dellucci who had tried everything to get out of the slump he has been having since joining the Cleveland Indians two months ago.
