One hundred games that is what Mark Buehrle can say he has under his belt. This was Mark’s seventh attempt at his one hundredth game and by god he had to have it. Pitching eight strong innings and helping the Chicago White Sox take home 6-3 defeating the Houston Astros.
The crowd of 33, 433 at the United States Cellular Field got to witness one of those pretty reasonable games that you don’t see all the time, especially since the Sox have been having a five game losing streak and finally stopped it with this win over the Astros.
Buehrle only allowed in six hits and one run and managed to strike out four Astro players and walked one. Mark went 0-3 and managed to raise his ERA to 3.99 from 2.99 and helped the Chicago White Sox get a much needed win, especially with the way they are playing. Hopefully they will pick up their slack and get more wins onto the books.
