BRAVES GET PUT DOWN BY THE TIGERS

It was a tough game for the Atlanta Braves who took on the Detroit Tigers at home in Turner Field on Saturday night. The Tigers where on a hot streak after beating the Braves twice already in this series encounter and managed to garner 5-0 making it the second time the Braves have lost to the Tigers 5-0 in this series.

The American League Central leading team the Tigers, are having a hell of a season and one of its leading players would be twenty two year old pitcher Andrew Miller, who took over the reigns again which would be his third time this season to help lead the Tigers to another win in the series.

Miller made three shoutout innings of four –hit baseball but was pulled after letting Andruw Jones walk in the seventh inning.  Key players in the game included Gary Sheffield and Magglio Ordonez who combined made four-for-ten with an RBI and two runs. Detroit is currently leading their division and has won seven straight games and thirteen of its last seventeen games.
