John Lackey had a hell of a weekend as he faced the Baltimore Orioles and managed to get his eleventh win which now puts him in second place in the American League most games won, right behind C.C. Sabathia who has twelve. With this the Angels where able to pull the 4-3 win over the Orioles.
Mike Napoli managed to make a home run in the eighth inning, however the Orioles did bring some heat to the Angels in the ninth inning but Vladimir Guerrero stood firm and through out Melvin Mora for the final out of the game.
Los Angeles however suffered a few loses as a key player, left fielder Eric Aybar had to leave the match due to an injury to his right hand.
