New York Yankees came out to play! Man! What an opener, the Yanks proved once more they are a threat to be reckoned with. Alex Rodriguez was upfront for the Yanks with three hits, which included a two run home run. Looks like the resting he has been doing has paid off for him.
The Yankees beat the Los Angeles Angels 14-9, in this game opener. The Yanks Rodriguez made his 493 career home run and tied with Lou Gehrig and McGriff for twenty second place on the career list of home runs made. This was the Yankees fourth game win in five nights.
After missing one game this season, Alex I guess needed to rest and the strained hamstring did not help either. But the come back is magnificent and it looks like Rodriguez is out to make history this season. He leads the majors with twenty nine home runs and eighty two RBIs.
