METS BEAT THE DODGERS IN A NEAR WIN

It was tough beat, but the Mets where determined to beat the Dodgers and take home the win. The New York Mets managed to beat the Los Angeles Dodgers 5-4 in the 10thinning, with Chip Ambres going home the hero after he singled home the go-ahead run and helped the Mets take three out of four. The game had come to a tie when Matt Kemp misplayed Shawn Green’s fly ball in the 9th inning, which helped Anderson Hernandez to score and tie the game.

The New York Mets are currently 4-14 when trailing after eight innings. Ambres looked to have gotten his game back, since this was his first hit since 2005. This was a near win for the New York Mets, as at some time in the game the Dodgers had a 4-2 lead over them, but the Mets managed to make a comeback and pulled up their socks to take the win.

It is with this kind of resilience that has gotten the New York Mets where they are. Even after having a two year hiatus from hitting any balls Ambres was able to come on and make the winning play for the team which shows that the New York Mets are guaranteed to be winners.
