MAN OF THE YEAR AWARD

Voting for The Man of the Year Award is now open. The Marvin Miller Man of the Year Award has been handed out each year since 1997. The award recognizes outstanding players on and off the field. Marvin Miller was the first executive director of the M.L.B.P.A. the winner is chosen by his peers for dedicated performance on the field and his contribution to charitable causes as well. Players from each team nominate one player from among themselves Fans then vote for the player of their choice on www.mlb.com and www.mlbplayers.com. The top six from the online vote are entered into the final draw and the players then pick a winner along with the vote for the player’s choice award.

The Man of the Year Award nominees for 2007 are;
