CINCINNATI Paul Lo Duca was a different player against the Reds; he had been rested for 15 days after picking up a hamstring injury in Mid August. Lo Duca made 2 3-run homers as the Mets beat the Cincinnati Reds reds 11-7. Paul Lo Duca had 7 RBIs, his highest for a single-game. Shawn Green and Carlos Delgado had 3 hits a piece and Carlos Beltran hit a 2-run homer, the win over the Reds was the fifth straight win for the Mets.

After 5 innings the Reds were up 5-3, but in the sixth the Beltran hit a two run homer to tie the game. Green put New York mets in front with a 2-run double. Lo Duca followed Green’s effort with a single. In the eighth Lo Duca was at it again this time added a three run homer.
