Barry Bonds Giants had a few choice words for Fashion designer Marc Ecko; he is the man who paid $752,467 for the ball that Bonds dispatched to get to 756 career home runs. Bonds was in no mood to hold back, it is on record that Bonds called Ecko an “idiot” and that Ecko should have found a better to spend a quarter of a million dollars. Bonds apparently does not think much of Eckos plan to have people vote on what he is to do with the ball. Anyone can go online and vote, Ecko wants people to choose between handing the ball over to the National Baseball Hall of Fame, branding it with an asterisk before sending it to Cooperstown or sending it to space on a rocket ship. The second option has Bonds ticked off; the asterisk points to his rumored use of steroids an accusation that has never been proven. Ecko fired back by saying that he would make a custom T-shirt with “Marc Ecko paid $752,467 for my ball, and all I got was this ’stupid’ T-shirt.” printed on it.
