San Francisco Giants

The San Francisco Giants are a Major League Baseball team based in San Francisco , California . The club presently belongs to the West Division of the National League. The Giants have been through firm spring training, but slugger Barry Bonds was in the focus. The every day debate on Bonds' alleged steroid use and its consequence on baseball's status was an undesirable disturbance for the Giants, but management anticipated this veteran club caould propel such insinuation to the back burner. The Giants are concrete from their starting eight all the way through to the bullpen and bench. Bonds' health will be crucial to victory. The minor inclusions made throughout the franchise, Giants are preferred to take home a National League West mainly composed of average squads last season. General manager Brian Sabean has enclosed Bonds with a fastidious blend of veterans and talented young arms in hopes of giving the slugger one last run at a popular World Series ring. The dream will come true if Bonds and Alou remain fairly healthy and Schmidt hosts a reasonable rotation.

The Giants' season will rely completely on its nucleus of veterans' good health, allowing pitchers like Lowry and Cain to succeed out of the pressure-filled spotlight. The major health apprehension could be Benitez. His breakdown may leave the Giants with no feasible substitute, with the rest of the bullpen full of unstable veterans and unconfirmed arms. This season bench is certainly an even bigger weakness along with Giants other weakness that is age and durability. Along with the Weakness team does have certain strengths, which gives support and rays of hope to the team. Randy Winn was one of the best players in baseball who is now a part of the team. Though he may not be able to repeat the career highs but he will definitely be a great help to the lineup. Another big strength the Giants have is their rotation. Matt Morris is an established winner, as he has never had a trailing record and he constantly wins 14-plus games a season. . While the rotation does fall off at the last spot, which is up for grabs between Brad Hennessey , Kevin Correia , and non-roster invitee Jamey Wright , this can still be one of the top rotations in the league. The strong pair of Bonds and Alou and the solid rotation will escort the Giants to an easy division title, but the age and weak bench will lead to a quick first round way out.

SAN FRANCISCO GIANTS Known to be oldest franchises of the American professional sports

San Francisco’s hilly streets, sparkling bay and famous bridges provide an excellent glimpse of the city. The basic pleasures of life here are wonderful food, sparkling nightlife and those awesome views. The best way to discover San Francisco's neighborhoods is on foot. The South of Market, which is a busy warehouse district during the day, takes a salient turn during the night and transforms into nightclub central at night. The Castro, which was occupied by gay people in the 1970s, still remains predominantly gay area today, projecting an almost normal air.
